The Parks of Granada

Granada is a wonderful place in Spain which has both coastal areas as well as hilly areas. The temperature in the coastal areas is very warm and in the hilly areas it is quite cold. The scenic beauty of the place is very good and there are famous ports in this town.

The city of the Granada is full of parks and gardens which are very wonderful to see. Here we will read more about the parks in the Granada. Here we will have a glimpse of the four main parks in Granada, namely:

Royal Garden

In the Royal Garden one gets to see the Alhambra and the Generalife. This is a wonderful park that has a lot of pools and fountains. This park is designed neatly in a geometrical pattern. City of El Puerto

El Puerto city is also known as Puerto de la Cruz and is the 2nd biggest city of the island and this city has a great place of accommodation for almost thirty thousand visitors. This city is traditional in comparison to the resorts located in the south. El Puerto was known as the best place for the relaxation at the end of previous century but then a Spa was constructed there and now this spa is converted into Hotel Casino Tauro. The city of Valladolid

The city of Valladolid is located in the Province of Valladolid as it is the capital city. It is surrounded by the regions of Rueda, Cigales and Ribera del Duero. All these regions are famous for wine making in Spain. The city is quite old as it has a great history from the ancient times. It was present in the Roman Era according to some estimation made by archaeologists. However history also shows that the population of the city was moved to other places in the times of Moorish invasions.

Valladolid was first conquered by Moors in the tenth century. It was a small village in that era. There were significant developments in the area in the 13th century. The area remained under special consideration of Kings in various eras. The peak era of the city was when the Royal wedding of Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand was hosted by it in the 15th century. The city remained capital of Spain for almost a century in that era.

Valladolid is considered an important city for Americans because Christopher Columbus died in this city in the year 1506. The place of death was a house and it later turned into a museum in the honor of that man. Apart from that there are many great monuments in the city. Some of these include Plaza Mayor, Cathedral of Valladolid, Toledo Cathedral, Miguel de Cervantes and San Benito Church.

There are two famous rivers that flow through Valladolid. These are the rivers of Esgueva and Pisuerga. Huelva is a province in Spain

The province of Huelva is very important in the Andalucía region of Spain. It is located in the west of Andalucía. This province has importance because it borders with Portugal. The province has a low population, peaceful environment and immense natural beauty. The temperature remains mild in most parts of the province whole year.

The famous Sierra Morena mountain ranges are located in this province. There are many villages in this province that are built on typical Andalucía style. Javea gives new life to its visitors

Towards the north east at a distance of eighty kilometers from Alicante the city of Javea is located. The city of Javea is between Altea and Denia which means the visitors to these two places also visit Javea on the way.
